Talking about the record, their first piece of new music in four years, Black Lizard said: âWe have been working on âHeadsâ for the past few years, taking our time. The main theme on this record is going forward in life and getting better. From the more 60s psych of âCelebration Of A New Dawnâ weâve gone for a more straight-up garage-rock sound on this one.â The resulting âHeadsâ LP sees raw, fuzzy guitars combine with infectious echo-soaked vocals and driving rhythm sections to create a record that trades in a timeless rockânâroll hedonism.

Staples of the Scandinavian psychedelic underground since they formed back in 2008, Helsinki's Black Lizard are returning with their fourth album âHeadsâ. Due out June 3rd on Fuzz Club, the new album arrives following 2018âs âCelebration Of A New Dawnâ, several tours around Europe, collaborations with Anton Newcombe and Sonic Boom, and shared stages with the likes of Brian Jonestown Massacre, DIIV, Allah-Las, The Horrors and many more.
